For Clinicians
What We Offer
A psychotherapy practice committed to professional growth and development recognizes the importance of continuing education for its therapists. Fifth Avenue Therapy offers clinical supervision, which fosters an environment where therapists can engage in reflective discussions about their cases, enhance clinical skills, and receive guidance from experienced supervisors.
Educational Seminars
Fifth Avenue Therapy offers monthly, New York State-approved continuing education seminars, that ensure that therapists stay abreast of the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and ethical considerations in the field. By integrating ongoing education into the Fifth Avenue experience, therapists not only meet licensing requirements but also deepen their understanding of evolving mental health theories, methods, and practices.
This commitment to continuing education reflects Fifth Avenue Therapy’s dedication to providing high-quality, up-to-date therapeutic services to clients while supporting the professional development of its clinicians.

Seminars are usually offered at lunchtime and are available through Zoom and in-person. They are free to members of the Fifth Avenue Therapy community. A small administration fee is required for outside clinicians. Please contact us if you’d like to be included on the email distribution list.
Clinical Supervision
All therapists at Fifth Avenue Therapy receive regularly scheduled individual supervision that is provided by senior staff members. Supervisors have significant clinical experience and are trained in patient care, ethics and the working systems of the organization. Group supervision is also available for clinicians who wish to have a structured forum in which to share their client experiences.
Referrals
Fifth Avenue Therapy is open for referrals from clinicians who believe that our environment would be beneficial to the prospective client. Please remember that our treatment model is once-per-week psychotherapy, and once-per-month medication management for clients who require psychopharmacology. We are not able to provide prescribing services to clients who do not receive psychotherapy at Fifth Avenue.
